"Wisdom is knowing what to do NEXT." David Starr Jordan This quote is written in beautiful calligraphy on a card that hangs above my desk. I got it at the Japanese Garden in Portland, Oregon. It reminds me simply to take things one step at a time. So often we find our minds projecting into the future, pondering all of the "what ifs," all of the things that might happen - the events that might go wrong (or right) - and thereby missing out on what we are called to do right now. Like the path of the tracks in this photo, we often can't see where we are headed beyond the next step. But faith teaches us to trust it will be revealed to us when the time comes :) Photo: Tracks leading into a frozen Watson Lake at sunset, Bellvue, CO, January 2, 2015 Please visit: http://www.resourcesforspiritualgrowth.com/
