Most snowshoers walking across frozen Lake Agnes might not even see these unusual patterns embedded in the ice eighteen inches below the surface. But that is my job as a photographer - to ferret out beauty in hidden places. Similarly, each of us is called to uncover the hidden beauty from within the depths of the people we encounter throughout the day. Such loveliness is often buried under the defensive walls all of us have erected to protect us from the trauma and challenges of life. But an attitude of faith in the core goodness of humanity serves as the lens through which we are more than able to see clear through to the inherent dignity and divinity of each and every person!
