When I snowshoed across Lake Agnes yesterday, I was amazed at the clarity of the ice. These white formations in the photo had formed eighteen inches beneath the surface. In some places, I could see three or four feet into the depths! I get the chills whenever I imagine how all of the beautiful lake-ice I'm encountering this winter will thaw in the Spring, make its way down the rivers, enter my home water line, and then be absorbed into my bloodstream whenever I take a drink. I love envisioning how such beauty - together with Mother Earth's gifts brought by sky-water trickling down these snowy peaks, through flowery bogs and meadows, over mosses, lichen-decorated rocks and fir-needled puddles - finally enters into me. I am literally a human embodiment of mountain grandeur! I encourage you to do the same sort of mindful envisioning with YOUR water source, and then to walk with dignity and quiet deliberation as though you are an embodiment of Nature's liquid bounty. Because you ARE! :) Photo: Lake Agnes, Never Summer Range, CO, January 4, 2015 Please visit: http://www.resourcesforspiritualgrowth.com/
