"Wisdom is bright, and does not grow dim. By those who love her she is readily seen, and found by those who seek for her. Quick to anticipate those who desire her, she makes herself known to them. Watch for her early and you will have no trouble; you will find her sitting at your gates. Even to think about her is understanding fully grown; be on the alert for her and anxiety will quickly leave you. She herself walks about looking for those who are worthy of her and graciously shows herself to them as they go, IN every thought of theirs coming to meet them." The Book of Wisdom 6:12-17 Ultimately, the only real relationship we can have is with Wisdom. People are wonderful, but they are not "where it's at." They promise all kinds of things, but only follow through on a few. People in fact all have their own agendas. And so do we. People come, and then they go. They seem interested in us or our work for a time, but then eventually move on. We can be grateful when they arrive in our lives, but then be ready to release them when they eventually decide to leave. For they inevitably will. However, wisdom and insight never fail. For they reside WITHIN us, bubbling up from unfathomable depths. But that is not all. Wisdom continually manifests herself within the inexhaustible beauty and wonder of Nature. It is within THIS mirror that we can see who we really are - AND discover the truest nature of every other human being as well.
