“Time goes from present to past.”
Shunryu Suzuki "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" Yesterday while I was hiking around in the foothills looking for more Spring-Beauty flowers to photograph, I could hardly believe my eyes. There, in a burn under some charred Ponderosa Pine trees and next to a large rocky outcrop was the VERY FIRST PASQUEFLOWER OF THE SEASON! Honestly, this is the earliest I've ever seen one in bloom. Does this mean we are having an early Spring?
