The Appearance of the First Spring Wildflowers Elicits a Sense of Hope, Brightness and a Wide-Open Future!

Today I found several dozen blooms of the very first foothills wildflower of the season - Spring-Beauty - gracing the forest floor amongst dried needles in a Ponderosa Pine woodland! How wonderful it is to find the first flowers of the season, for they elicit a sense of hope, brightness and a wide-open future!
