Our Lives are a Mutual Mirroring of The Sacred Earth and Our Own Sacred Self

Our lives are best lived in a mutual mirroring that occurs between the Sacred Earth and our own deep Sacred Self.

The Earth wonderfully mirrors back to us our core Self. In the landscape, we discover the silent, beautiful, solitary, simple, vast, tranquil, wild, impish and mischievous aspects of our deepest identity, all colored in beautiful landscape hues.

We in turn mirror back to the Earth her self-aware, awe-filled, celebrative, analytical, philosophical, contemplative, synthesizing, systematizing, artistic and loving qualities - all colored in a warmly human hue.

Either mirroring without the other would remain incomplete. If all we ever experienced was the landscape mirroring us back to OURSELVES, we would become narcissistic and shallow, ignorant of the bigger picture.

On the other hand, if all we ever knew was the process through which we mirror the landscape back to ITSELF, we would end up downplaying our own individuality, personality and uniqueness.

Like magnetism, electricity, and mutual love, BOTH sides are needed in order for a rich and full Life to occur both for us and for the Earth.
